Remember that you can only leave your bike on the street for a very short time. Use to fix it, an object that is itself firmly anchored. It is safer to take 2-3 locks instead of one: fix the wheels on the frame, as well as the frame on the support.
If you need to leave your bike for a long time, you can remove the handlebar or seat from the bike. Such a bike will not look very attractive for a thief, as he will have to complete it before resale.
