Making a photo on jigsaw puzzles is a fairly common service, and many specialists offer it. In fact, you can make photo puzzles yourself, using the capabilities of Photoshop.
Instructions
Step 1
Select the photo you want to make puzzles out of and open it in Photoshop. If you want to print a photo puzzle in the future, then choose a high quality photo so that the picture is clear and not blurry.
Step 2
Create a new layer. This can be done by clicking the "Layer" menu item and then "New", or by clicking on the icon for creating a new layer at the bottom of the Layers window. If this window is not displayed in the program, then you will have to enable it. Go to "Window" (Window) in the top panel and select "Layers" (Layers). Transfer your image to a new layer and name it Photo.
Step 3
With the new layer selected as the working canvas (it should be displayed in blue in the Layers window), go to the Window menu item. Select the section "Styles" (Styles), and the program will open a window with different styles (displayed as squares), which are available in "Photoshop" and are available to apply to your image.
Step 4
Click on the library of styles, which is located under the icon for closing the window (cross) and from the list that opens, select the category "Effects for images" (Image Effects). The available effects will open in the window, you need to find "Puzzle" among them.
Step 5
After you find the desired element and click on it, your picture will be covered with a "puzzle" texture. But the image is not quite ready yet, because such small puzzles do not look as realistic as we would like. Therefore, you need to increase their size. Go to the window where the layers are displayed and add a style to the current layer by clicking the icon as a function.
Step 6
Select "Bevel and Emboss" from the drop-down list. A small window will open in which you will see the "Texture" section. In it, you can increase the size by moving the slider, and, in addition, add more realism using the "Depth" parameter. Customize the effect to your liking.
Step 7
Save the resulting photo puzzle in JPEG format, if you want to print the photo (first set the desired size for printing), or in.png"
