If you decide to make an unusual gift to a friend or the whole team, then there is no better idea than a thematic poster. But behind the mass of notions, creative solutions and various techniques of execution, it is easy to lose the wholeness and the main idea of the poster. Therefore, firstly, clearly think over the plot and composition of the poster, and secondly, try not to concentrate on the secondary, on small details. The poster should be quite simple and “speaking”, first of all, by its visual content.

However, the center of the composition should not be placed strictly in the center, but with some offset. Its secondary parts should not compete with the main ones either in size or in brightness.

The simplest solution is to create a collage of photos on a given topic. But you can spice up this idea with various visual means: use beautiful textures as a background, unusual processing of ordinary photographs, use exquisite fonts of various sizes (size), etc.

Use colored cardboard as a base, glitter gels, and other materials. Unexpected materials can also make your collage interesting: dry leaves, beautiful fabrics, lace or, say, nuts, ties, souvenir bills, etc.

Think about the best poster size for your case. For example, if you are creating a poster using computer graphics and want to make it large, you should be able to print an image in that format. The choice of size also depends on how convenient the poster will be for its addressee or how it will be used: it is better to make a poster for a "corporate party" large-scale, and a gift poster may well fit on an A4 sheet.
