Aluminum cans appear constantly in the house. Most often they fly into the trash can. But if you have a little daughter, do not rush to throw them away - you can make a lot of interesting things out of them. For example, furniture for a doll's corner.

It is necessary

  • - aluminum cans;
  • - scissors;
  • - measuring compass;
  • - sandpaper;
  • - felt-tip pen.

Instructions

Step 1

The thin aluminum from which beer cans are made is very easy to bend and cut perfectly. If you cut it with the most ordinary medium-length scissors, then there will be no chipping, so this material is quite suitable for children's toys. Pick up the right size jars and wash them thoroughly, then cut the top off evenly. It is enough to cut off the bottom with a hole along the rim.

Step 2

You have to cut through the entire side surface of the can in even strips about 5 mm wide. Therefore, mark the surface first. It is convenient to do this with a meter. You can, of course, make notes by eye. Try to divide the number of strips by 4. Make cuts all the way to the top bottom.

Step 3

The most needed item in the puppetry is the table. It is also the easiest to do. Divide the resulting strips into 4 equal groups. The legs can be made in several ways. For example, find 1 or 2 center stripes in the group. Make a mark 3 cm from the remaining bottom. From this point, braid a 3-strand braid at a distance of about 5 cm. Braid the remaining groups of strips as well. Make sure that all braids are the same length. Twist the bottom of each strip into a tight tube, starting from the free edge and up to the beginning of the braid. Place the table on a flat surface and bend the legs if necessary.

Step 4

You can make not only a table from a can, but also a chair. The beginning of the process is exactly the same as in the first case. Divide the total number of strips into 2 equal parts. One half is for the legs and back, the other half is for two legs only. In the part where the back will be, bend a few strips up. From the rest, make the same legs as for the table.

Step 5

Form the back from the strips bent upwards. The easiest way is to simply bend the strips into arcs. But you can dream up and do something more interesting. For example, bend one strip with an arc to the symmetrical point of the bottom. Braid it with the rest of the strips for the back.
