Consider how to knit a hat for a child, which will reliably cover his ears from the cold wind. The hat consists of 4 parts, which are knitted separately. I offer a knitting pattern - embossed rhombuses and 1x1 elastic.

Instructions
Step 1
The eyelet - its 2 parts, knitted with white yarn knitting needles. We start with 1 loop, then we knit 3 cm with a 1X 1 elastic band, adding one loop at the beginning of each row. Then we knit 23 cm without changes - we get a ribbon for strings. At the 27th cm from the beginning of knitting, to expand the ear, add 8 loops on each side (1 loop in every third row). We knit another 11 cm without changes. Starting from the 38th cm, in the next 22 rows we subtract 26 loops: in the first 4 rows, 1 loop at the beginning at the end
of each row, and in the next 18, 1 loop at the beginning of each row. Fasten the last loop. The second ear is knitted in the same way as the first.
Step 2
The front of the cap is crocheted. From white yarn we collect a chain of 48 air loops, then knit 4 cm embossed rhombuses for the visor. The first 5 rows are knit from blue yarn. Double-sided pattern: embossed front side and flatter wrong side. The seamy side of the drawing for the product itself is the front side. Moreover, for knitting with blue yarn, each 4 and 5 rows are knitted with white thread. To expand the visor, add 6 loops on each side: 1 loop in each 2nd row. Then knit 12.5 cm, while decreasing, alternating 1 loop on each side - it turns out 14 times in each row and 15 times in every second row. Fasten the remaining 2 loops.
Step 3
Rear end. Tie a chain of 30 air loops, then knit 3 cm with embossed rhombuses, decreasing on each side 3 times by 1 loop in every 3rd row. The next 16 cm knit unchanged. From 20 cm from the start of work, reduce 12 loops on each side of the canvas: 1 in every second row. Fasten one loop.
Step 4
Steam all the details, connect them with a half-column on the seamy side of the work and tie around the blue thread with "crustacean loops".
