Step 1
Create a blueprint for the bike you will be assembling. It should be drawn with the help of professionals, because it is very important to take into account a number of points - for example, balancing, distribution of loads, the correct connection of parts.
Step 2
Buy standard wheels as well as a chain mechanism equipped with drive and driven gears. The frame requires metal tubes of different diameters. Purchase suitable material and make such tubes according to the drawing. To connect the frame, use spot welding with the services of a professional welder.
Step 3
Make a bicycle fork using a press machine and gas welding. Also suitable are tools for forging metal. Then drill holes in the frame to fit the drive sprocket in the frame and the wheel mounts in the fork and frame. Please note that these holes should be located strictly perpendicular to the frame axis, and parallel to each other.
Step 4
Next, we attach the prepared steering wheel, saddle, pedals to the frame. After that, you need to hang the chain mechanism on the bike, install the wheels and mount the brakes. The vehicle is assembled, but it still needs to be tested.
Step 5
Drive along the road. The bike should hold well, not lead to the side, while the pedals should rotate freely. If all is well, disassemble the bike again and start painting. If there are any problems, disassemble your own transport, try to find the causes of the malfunctions and eliminate them.
Step 6
In a similar, but simpler way, you can assemble an exclusive bike by purchasing a ready-made aluminum frame and gradually attaching all the necessary components. Such a vehicle has its advantages: for example, any part that has deteriorated very easily and quickly is replaced with a similar one.
