This year, the turban hat has become fashionable again. I wanted to tie myself one. I was looking for a description for a very long time, but it was all wrong, then I came up with it myself and that's what happened. The hat looks very good if it is supplemented with a large unusual brooch. Today I want to share simple and step-by-step tips on knitting a turban hat with knitting needles without adding or subtracting loops.
Instructions
Step 1
You will need a yarn of about 200 grams. Wool is the best choice. Thick and bulky yarn is suitable for a turban hat. Depending on which yarn you have chosen, we select knitting needles. The yarn labels have the necessary recommendations.
Step 2
The main pattern will be an elastic band. We will take as a basis a scarf with a length of 120 centimeters. Cast on 28 stitches + 2 hem stitches. Knit with 4x4 elastic band. The width should be approximately 18-20 centimeters, but in no case not less. The width can be up to 25 centimeters.
Step 3
When tied to the desired length, close the loops. And we form a turban hat on our head.
Step 4
We tie it on the head on the forehead making a cross, the ends are on the crown, passing to the back of the head. We connect at the back of the head and fasten with a crochet hook. Connecting the ends of our scarf, as it were, on the crown of the head and on the side with a crochet hook, connecting with a seam. The turban hat is ready.
