An exclusive handmade photo frame can become a good interior item and a creative gift for a loved one. It is very simple to make an original and beautiful frame: all you need to do is have unlimited imagination and a minimum of materials.

Instructions
Step 1
Take a piece of cardboard and cut two rectangles out of it. In order for the frame to look harmonious, its width should not be less than three centimeters. Place the photo in the center of one of the rectangles and outline its outline. Step back 2-3 millimeters into the contour and draw another one. Along this contour, cut out a window for the photo. Come up with an interesting decor for the outside of the workpiece. Step back a few millimeters from the edge of the workpiece and apply glue to its inner side. To frame your photo, do not glue the tops of the cardboard rectangles together.
Step 2
Prepare thin glass to prevent dust and deformation of the photo. Cut a rectangle out of thick cardboard according to its size. Glue a photo on it, put glass on top. From thick fabric or paper, cut strips about 6 centimeters wide and a length that coincides with the sides of the base. To prevent their ends from forming double thickness at the joints, cut off the corners of the strips. Bend the strips lengthwise and glue them so that one half is on the front side and the other on the back. Dry the frame under a press.
Step 3
Glue a cardboard support to the back of the frame or attach a ring from which you can hang it. To do this, take a piece of tape and stick a piece of thick paper on top. For a more secure way of hanging, take strips of thin sheet metal and bend three hooks from them. Clamp the finished frame with these hooks in three places and thread a fishing line or cord through them.
