Wicker baskets are often used to decorate gifts, but made from ordinary rods, they can look boring or don't go well with what is in them. Therefore, before placing a surprise inside the basket, you need to decorate it.
It is necessary
- - transparent wrapping paper;
- - colored ribbons 1-3 cm wide;
- - artificial or natural flowers;
- - sewing, lace or crocheted openwork fabric;
- - decorative lace;
- - beads with large holes;
- - nail varnishes, acrylic paints, brushes.
Instructions
Step 1
Use a large sheet of clear, unprinted wrapping paper. This way of decorating a gift is good if you are going to fill the basket with different delicacies, for example, caviar in a beautiful jar, champagne, gourmet cheese or cookies in unusual packaging. Place the basket in the center. Pull the four corners up to form nice folds. Tie the film in a knot with satin ribbons, several different shades can be folded together. Tie a bow. It can be dense and have the correct shape, or, conversely, the tapes can cascade down the edges of the polyethylene.
Step 2
Decorate the basket with flowers and ribbons, this way of decoration is suitable if you are going to visit for Easter. Choose artificial or natural flowers, insert their cuttings into the weaving of the basket twigs, hide between them. Decorate the edges of the basket this way. You can use transparent tape to secure it. Tie a bow on the handle, line the bottom with a beautiful napkin of a suitable shade. If you do not have flowers, wrap the edges of the basket and the handle with tape, to do this, insert its end between the rods, tighten, throw the tape in the opposite direction and repeat the procedure several times.
Step 3
Crochet an openwork strip. It should be long enough to wrap around the widest part of the basket. Tie the crocheted lace around the edge of the basket. If you do not have the ability to knit a part, use sewing or lace with a large pattern.
Step 4
Choose large beads with large holes. If there are none, you can use wooden rings from children's pyramids or parts of Soviet rustling curtains with a palm tree pattern. Paint the beads with nail polish or bright acrylic paints, leave to dry completely. Tie a decorative string to the twig on the inside of the basket. Bring it to the front side, string a bead, thread it into the weave. So go all over the edge. Fasten the lace on the inside.
