A toy that a child made himself will delight him much more - it will be the result of his creative labors. Both boys and girls will enjoy making paper dolls, which provide a lot of room for imagination - you can draw and cut out a variety of clothes, accessories, and even vehicles for them.
Instructions
Step 1
To create paper dolls, prepare cardboard, pencil, scissors, felt-tip or colored pencils, colored and wrapping paper for appliqués, and numerous glossy magazines.
Step 2
On a piece of cardboard, together with the child, draw the figure of a doll with a pencil. Using tracing paper, you can also copy a figurine from any book or coloring book. Draw the doll's face and hairstyle, make the contours of the body clear. There is no need to draw clothes - the doll will be a blank for future costumes.
Step 3
Cut the finished doll out of cardboard with scissors. Now the time has come to make clothes - underwear can be drawn directly on the doll and colored in, and to create outerwear, dresses and costumes, the doll must be put on colored paper and outlined.
Step 4
Along the contours, you can draw trousers, skirts, dresses, coats, blouses, shirts, as well as hats, shoes and accessories - glasses, a bag, household items, and much more for the doll. You can make both a girl doll and a boy doll - let the child determine what clothes should be for each of them.
Step 5
Make a small paper lapel on each garment so that the garment can be attached to the doll. After that, cut out all the objects and draw small details and patterns on them.
Step 6
If you want, you can make a stand for the doll so that it can stand upright. To do this, cut out a semicircle from thick cardboard and glue it to the bottom of the doll's legs.
