Instructions

Step 1

Purchase an old system unit (the box itself) or remove the cover from yours if you do not need it. On the Internet, find the dimensions and manufacturing scheme of the car body. According to the instructions, follow all the necessary steps and solder the body, make the wheels and all the structural parts that you want to see in your machine. If you do not have enough small parts, disassemble an old CD or DVD-ROM drive from your computer, you can also use small Chinese alarm clocks. Use thin plexiglass for windshields, rear and side windows. It can also be used to make headlight covers. Scratch the mesh on the overlays with a needle. If you want to make an exact copy of a radio-controlled car yourself, find drawings on the Internet for the construction of such models.

Step 2

Buy a model car if you don't want to make your own body. Get a small electric motor with an axle (the axle is needed to attach the wheels to it), batteries, an old remote control and a long wire. Remove both buttons from the computer mouse. Gently solder 2 small wires to one mouse button. Solder the opposite end of one wire to the previously purchased electric motor, the second wire to the positive pole. The minus pole will be located on the motor.

Step 3

To make a reverse gear for a typewriter, the same steps must be repeated with the wires on the second button from the mouse. Connect the minus and plus on the battery. Convert the old remote control to a typewriter remote. Attach both mouse buttons to it.

Step 4

Place the wheels of the previously prepared car model on the axle of the electric motor. Check the performance of the resulting structure: when you press one button from the mouse, the machine should go forward, the second button from the mouse is responsible for moving the car in reverse.
