Instructions

Step 1

Try to sew the gloves yourself. Prepare flaps of leather: open up an old bag, jacket or buy leather fabric for gloves, preferably with a fur lining - this material is convenient to sew. Pay attention to the top side of the fabric so that it is free of spots and holes, because this will be the front side of the product. You will need two pieces measuring thirty-five by fifty centimeters.

Step 2

Download the pattern on the Internet, open it in any graphic editor, where you can see the dimensions in centimeters. Measure with a tape centimeter the width of the hand across the palm, the height of the fingers, compare with the image. Adjust the pattern while maintaining the proportions. Print, cut, leaving half a centimeter for allowances.

Step 3

Fold the skin in half. Transfer the patterns to the right side of the fabric. Separately find a place for the thumbs. Cut out the model using a special knife or razor. Keep in mind that the right and left arms are symmetrical. You should have the following parts: main panel, six intermediate wedges, thumb inserts.

Step 4

Pick up a strong thread in the color of your skin (you can also work with a thread of a contrasting tone), a regular strong needle. Start with your left hand. Sew the two pairs of wedges together by hand with the end sides. Connect the wedges to the glove starting at the base. When sewing in wedges, periodically try on a glove on your hand, check the size.

Step 5

Sew the side parts of the thumb over the edge, leaving the tip unfinished. Place the sewn thumb on the glove, the contours of the hole pattern and the part itself should match. Pin and sew. Put the product on your hand, stretch it, make sure that your fingers are not cramped. Finish the job by sewing on your fingertips. Finally, grind the sides from the little finger to the base. Cut off the edges, the rest of the thread.

Step 6

Sew the right glove in the same way. For fur-lined leather, add a bold fluffy lapel. The necessary and exclusive thing is ready, your skillful hands will feel comfortable and warm in new seals.
