In knitting, there are a lot of techniques with which you can diversify and decorate a simple knitted fabric, and one of the simplest is the knitting technique. You can make bumps on the canvas with knitting needles and crochet, and if you knit them with contrasting yarn on a canvas of a neutral color, they will noticeably revive it and make your product more interesting and beautiful.
Instructions
Step 1
If knitting seems difficult to you, and you doubt that you can alternate a pattern and a simple surface, knit an even fabric, and knit the bumps separately with a crochet. When they are ready, you just have to sew the bumps in random order in the right knitting places.
Step 2
From individual bumps, you can add various patterns - snowflakes, flowers, and so on. To make a bump, crochet three air loops and knit five double crochets in the first loop.
Step 3
Knit the loops on the hook together, knit one air lift loop and pull a working thread through it. Pull the ends of the thread to the wrong side of the bump and secure.
Step 4
If you want the pattern to be more embossed, crochet several double crochets on one loop of the knitted fabric. To do this, insert the hook into the desired loop, draw out the thread of a different color and knit two air loops, and then knit in four columns with a crochet, knitting two loops only once.
Step 5
Knit the loops that are on the hook together, then transfer the loop to the right knitting needle and continue knitting until where you want to knit again.
Step 6
You can knit such a pattern without using a hook - for this, knit the desired loop in the front row with a thread of a different color, pulling the colored thread along the seamy side of the knitted fabric. Purl crossed stitch over the back, and then purl and purl crossed stitches until the number of stitches is five.
Step 7
There is another way to knit a "knob" pattern, in which the pattern is knitted with garter stitch, and the bumps themselves are located between two loops and are more convex. Raise the broach in the front row to the left knitting needle and knit five loops from it, alternating the front for the front wall and the front crossed for the back wall.
Step 8
Turn the work and knit the bumps with the front loops, and then turn the work again and knit the loops again with the front satin stitch. With a crochet hook in the front row, knit the bumps with the base color thread, and then continue knitting with the base color until the end of the row or until the next bump.
