There are a huge number of beading techniques, and each of them has about as many variations as there are products. Therefore, when going to weave a case from beads, first of all you need to think over what technique you are going to use. It is necessary to immediately note a few other subtleties necessary to get started.

It is necessary

  • - Beads;
  • - threads;
  • - needles;
  • - napkins;
  • - zipper or button.

Instructions

Step 1

The openwork technique allows the cover to be weaved with a minimum of time. In addition, even if you were a little mistaken when calculating the size of the future cover, the elastic structure compensates for this. However, a product made using this technique cannot be called reliable: parts of an object placed inside (in particular, a telephone) will be visible and may be scratched.

Step 2

Mosaic, cross, tapestry and the Ndebele technique in this sense are much more laborious, but the result is worth it: the subject will be completely covered. Alternatively, you can shorten the work a bit by using large beads. Do not get carried away: beads with a diameter of more than 5-7 mm will give the impression of being too massive.

Step 3

Having decided on the technique and size of the beads, choose a pattern. For beginners, it is better to do with a simple scheme or even weave a plain cover. A complex drawing with a lot of colors and shades requires more attention, and the work will go slower.

Step 4

Equip your workplace. It should be well lit, threads, needles and beads should always be at hand. Sprinkle beads of each shade on small patches of fleecy (for example, velvet) fabric so that it does not crumble on the table and floor.

Start braiding according to your chosen technique and pattern. Take your time, constantly double-check the result. If you make a mistake, you will have to dissolve the product and start where you made a mistake.

Step 5

The cover should be slightly higher in height than the object for which it is intended. Connect the sides, and on top attach a zipper or button and a beaded loop.

Step 6

Weave the belt using the same technique and using the same colors and attach it to the edges of the cover (on the side of the fastener).
