A serious hobby for fishing requires a professional approach, not only when choosing tackle and any other devices, but also when choosing clothes. Experienced anglers have long understood that for a comfortable and enjoyable process of fishing on ice, specially prepared clothing is required, and not an unnecessary wardrobe of a century ago. And newcomers, unfortunately, do not have such experience, but at the same time they want to join the society of subglacial fishermen. So, in order to protect yourself from the cold while fishing, you can use the following tips.
Instructions
Step 1
Choose the right underwear - be sure to cotton or linen (the well-known "vest" is very popular). The laundry should be slightly worn, but at the same time freshly washed. On top of it, it is recommended to put on a "net" made of thick and soft ropes, about 5 millimeters thick. Thus, there will always be an air gap between the clothes and the body, which will not allow the clothes to stick to the body (if it is very hot), but will also keep warm. At the same time, in summer, the net will save you from mosquitoes, because, biting through clothes, they will only get into emptiness.
Step 2
A woolen sweater and trousers must be worn on top of the mesh. To protect your neck, be sure to choose a turtleneck sweater. Trousers should be made of dense, windproof and waterproof fabric. Putting on thick trousers is not entirely correct, it would be best to choose a jacket to which you can fasten long floors that cover the body almost to the toes. Thus, you will not mate, but also will not freeze. Jacket - always warm, waterproof, ideal length - up to mid-thigh.
Step 3
But most of all attention should be paid to shoes, because our feet are the most cold. Shoes should be waterproof, lined with fur, one or two sizes larger than yours. Fresh, thick socks made from pure wool should be worn on the leg. Do not wear synthetics under any circumstances, as it disrupts ventilation and retains moisture.
Step 4
The neck and head are the most sensitive parts of the body to cold. On the head, you must first put on a special comforter with a cut for the face, it is desirable that it covers not only the head, but also the neck and shoulders. The lower part of the liner should be made of two or three layers, thus there is no need for a scarf.
Step 5
You can wear leather gloves or regular cloth gloves on your hands. If there is no wind, then you can stretch the sleeves of thermal underwear or a light sweater so that they cover almost the entire palm.
