It is necessary

  • - soap base;
  • - cosmetic pigments (dyes);
  • - titanium dioxide;
  • - glycerin;
  • - perfume.

Instructions

Step 1

To make soap stones, use two types of soap base - transparent and white. Cut it into small pieces and place in the microwave or water bath. Bring to a boil and add the cosmetic pigment previously dissolved in glycerin. Stir the mixture, pour it into a flat dish and wait until it hardens. A mixture of different colors can be poured into different molds. After a few minutes, take out the frozen layer, tear off a piece from it and roll a small ball out of it with your hands.

Step 2

For a variety, you can make a marble base of the stone by adding titanium dioxide powder to one part of the melted base, which gives it a matte finish, and to the other part, a dye, for example, green, dissolved in glycerin. At the same time, pour the resulting soap bases into the mold and run a spoon between them several times to achieve a marbled effect. After the base has solidified, you also tear off small pieces and roll balls from them, which can be of different sizes.

Step 3

Next, prepare the next layer for filling. Cut the white soap base into small pieces. If there is no white, then add titanium dioxide powder to the transparent base at the rate of 5 g per 1 kg of base. Melt this mixture and add dye to it, let it cool slightly and fill in the pebbles (balls). Repeat the fill several times, use a soap base of different shades for this, and press it with your hands each time. It is advisable to fill the initial stones in 3-4 layers. For better adhesion of layers to each other, before pouring each of them, spray the previous hardened layer with alcohol.

Step 4

Fold the prepared pebbles of different sizes, shapes and shades into a mold and sprinkle with alcohol.

Step 5

To prepare the filling, take a container and melt the soap base in it. Add a few drops of perfume and dye to the resulting mixture. When the mixture has cooled, pour it into the mold.

Step 6

After half an hour, remove the soap block from the mold and cut it in half. Carefully trim away any excess, giving the soap a stone shape. Smooth out any irregularities under running water, thereby giving the stone a finished look.
