An openwork summer dress made of cotton yarn will be very useful in the summer heat. It can be worn both to the beach and to a festive event. This dress is incredibly feminine and will suit women of any body size.
It is necessary
- - 350-400 grams of Iris or Snowflake cotton yarn;
- - hook number 4.
Instructions
Step 1
Take your measurements before starting knitting. You will need: chest girth, waist girth, product length and sleeve armhole depth. Using these measurements, build a base pattern, to which you will then apply a knitted fabric in order to make the necessary decreases or increases.
Step 2
Start by knitting the tight part of the skirt. Cast on a chain of air loops equal to the hip circumference plus five centimeters for a loose fit. Close the chain in a circle and knit the skirt in a circle with double crochets. This is about 40 rows, but you can knit the tight piece as long as you like.
Step 3
Tie the bottom of the skirt with an openwork border. For her, you can use any fantasy pattern: "half flowers", "flowers", "pineapples" and so on. It will be enough to tie one or two motives in length.
Step 4
Knit the motif "half-flower" as follows: knit a "bundle" from the last loop, which completes the row of the dense part of the skirt. To do this, cast on six air loops, then in the same loop of the previous row, tie three columns with two crochets and two air loops between them. Then knit a chain of five chain stitches, skipping six loops of the previous row, in the seventh loop, knit the same "bundle" as described above. Continue in the same way to the end of the row.
Step 5
Then in the next row, tie the "petals". In each chain of 2 stitches, work a single crochet, 3 double crochets, and a single crochet. Connect all the "petals" with a chain of three air loops.
Step 6
Having finished the skirt, start knitting the upper part according to your pattern. Knit 8-10 rows in a circle. Then knit in straight and back rows, leaving room for the fastener. Decrease gradually, narrowing the rows to the size of the waist. Next, knit eight more rows, without decreasing, and then expand the fabric with the help of increments to the measure of the chest girth. Knit in this way to the armhole of the sleeve. Next, knit just in front of the dress, divide the fabric into two halves and knit, forming a neckline.
Step 7
At the end of the work, tie the ties and sew on hooks or a zipper for fastening. Tie the hem of the armholes and necks with single crochet posts. Moisten and dry the dress on a horizontal surface; you can also steam it off with an iron through several layers of gauze.
