Determine what size your man is wearing.

Choose the color of the yarn and buy the amount you need to knit the sweater.

Make a pattern for the required size and calculate the number of loops in each row.

Start knitting from the back, having previously tied about seven centimeters with an elastic band, which knits alternately 2 front, 2 purl. After the elastic is tied, start gradually adding a few loops on both sides of the back along the pattern. Having reached the sleeves, close seven to eight loops on both sides for armholes, in the same way you need to close the middle fifteen to seventeen loops for the neckline and finish both sides separately. Close the shoulder bevels on both sides of the back at the same time, also reducing the number of loops.
Step 5
Tie the front of the sweater in a similar manner, but with a deeper neckline.
Step 6
Start knitting the sleeves, having previously knitted about seven centimeters of elastic, adding the required number of loops on both sides of the sleeve along the pattern. Having knitted the sleeve, all the loops must be closed. Knit the second sleeve in a similar way.
Step 7
Connect all parts of the sweater. First join the shoulder and side seams, then sew on the sleeves. All seams are joined seam to seam and from the seamy side so that there are no scars. After the garment is sewn, wash it in warm water and carefully lay it out so that it does not lose its shape or deform.
Step 8
When the sweater is dry, iron it through a damp cloth to complete it.
