It's nice to do a beautiful thing with your own hands. If you knit a sweater, then it will be an author's apparel, created in a single copy. Openwork sweaters create a feeling of lightness, while the thing is quite warm and cozy.
It is necessary
- - 350 g of yarn;
- - needle;
- - circular needles No. 3.
Instructions
Step 1
Before you start the fun knitting process, you need to buy your favorite yarn and knitting needles. This model requires circular knitting needles. The yarn is merino wool. You can buy any color you want (just not very fluffy) so that there is about 175 meters of thread in a 50-gram skein.
Step 2
First knit a pattern to find out the tightness of your knitting. To do this, cast on 22 loops (2 of them are extreme) and knit 10 rows with the main pattern. The first loop of the row is removed. Next, calculate the knitting density by measuring the width of the sample with a centimeter. In this example, 1 cm is 2, 6 loops.
Step 3
Now you need to create a pattern. First, a rectangle is drawn. Its bottom is equal to half the circumference of the chest + 2 cm for a free fit. The side pieces correspond to the length of the product. It remains to draw a small cutout of the neck of the back and a shelf. For such an openwork sweater, the armhole is not very deep. The second pattern is the sleeve.
Step 4
You can use a ready-made pattern. This one is given for ladies of 44 "Russian" size. As you can see from the pattern, the shelf and back are knitted with a single fabric (without side seams).
Step 5
Knitting starts from the bottom. To create this openwork sweater, cast on 208 loops and knit in a circle with the main pattern. It is designed for 16 rows. From the 17th, the knitting pattern is repeated.
Step 6
After 18 centimeters, a semicircular back cut begins to form. After 32 cm from the beginning of knitting, an armhole for the sleeves is knitted and from this place the shelf and back are knitted separately. Remember to tuck the garment against the pattern to create a front cutout and close shoulder seams.
Step 7
For sleeves, 46 loops are typed, and knitting is carried out according to the 7 b scheme. From the 30th row, start a uniform addition along one extreme loop. After 53 cm, the loops are smoothly closed to knit the armhole.
Step 8
It remains to sew the details of the sleeves, shoulder seams and sew the sleeves into the armhole. Loops for the collar of the sweater are gathered along the edge of the neckline. When its canvas is 2 times the desired length, the loops are closed at a time, the collar is tucked inside the product and its edge is sewn to the place where the loops are set on the neckline.
