It is necessary

  • - knitting needles;
  • - yarn;
  • - scissors.

Instructions

Step 1

Before you start knitting an openwork scarf, choose the right yarn for this product. It should be of high quality, smooth and not too dark. As for the thickness, the choice is yours: it can be either thin or thick.

Step 2

Cast on twenty-six loops on the needles. Then, starting with the next row, knit the front and back stitches, followed by the Paired Leaves pattern, and then the back and front stitches.

Step 3

In turn, knit the openwork pattern "Paired Leaves" as follows: knit the first and each subsequent odd row, alternating ten purl loops and two front loops. Knitting of the second row looks like this: six front loops, after which they knit two together with a tilt to the left, make a yarn, then knit two purl, yarn, front and again yarn, and then remove one loop, knit two together front, throw the removed loop and six the loops are knitted with the front ones.

Step 4

Knit the fourth row as follows: four front loops, two loops together with a tilt to the left, front, yarn, front, yarn, again front, then two purl and again front, yarn, front, yarn, front, then remove one loop, two knit the front together, put the removed loop on top and knit the remaining four with the front ones. The sixth row is somewhat different from the fourth: knit two front, two together with a tilt to the left, two front, yarn, front, yarn, two front, two wrong, then two front, yarn, front, yarn and two, and then remove the loop, knit the next two together, throw the removed loop and knit the last two loops.

Step 5

Knit the last row of the "Paired Leaves" openwork pattern as follows: two together with a tilt to the left, three front, yarn, front, yarn, three front, yarn, front, yarn, three front, then remove the loop, knit two together, and on top of the knitted sketch out the loop that was removed.

Step 6

When the loops of the main panel are closed, cast an arbitrary number of loops along the long edge of the openwork scarf (this will be a frill). Knit the loops of the first row of the frill with the wrong side (this will be the wrong side), from the second to the fourth row knit the front loop, then pull the thread between the loops and knit the front loop again, and in the fifth row all loops should be front. Tie the frill along the second long side of the scarf in the same way.
