By slightly manipulating the recording of a popular song with the tools of an audio editor, you can get a great way to amuse your friends at a party. It is enough to change the playback speed of the track or change some of the words to the sound generated by the tools of the Adobe Audition program.

Instructions
Step 1
Find a popular track in your collection of recordings that will be easily recognized by your friends. Open the file in the Adobe Audition editor using the Open option on the File menu.
Step 2
Use the Stretch option of the Time / Pitch group of the Effects menu to open the filter settings window, with which you can change the tempo of sound playback. In the Stretching Mode panel, enable the Time Stretch option.
Step 3
By moving the only slider in the Constant Stretch tab, change the sound speed of the recording loaded into the editor. If you chose a fast tempo track for the experiment, slow it down by moving the slider to the left. Slow recording can be made a little more energetic by speeding it up by moving the slider to the right. Click on the Preview button to listen to the result.
Step 4
Using the same filter, you can get an acceleration or deceleration of the tempo in selected parts of the song. Select one of the suitable fragments with the mouse, open the Stretch filter window and go to the Gliding Stretch tab. In the Ratio field to the right of the top slider, enter a value equal to one hundred percent. In the Final field, adjust the speed change for the end of the selected fragment.
Step 5
Another way to achieve a fun effect is to replace individual words of the song with chunks of the audio editor-generated tone. For such processing, a song with well-audible text in a language that your friends understand is suitable.
Step 6
Select a word that repeats throughout the text and replace it with the generated sound. To do this, find the section of the recording where the selected word is encountered for the first time, select it and apply the Tones option of the Generate menu. Set the Base Frequency to one kilohertz. Select Sine or Inversed Sine from the Flavor drop-down list.
Step 7
In the same way, replace the selected word with the generated tone throughout the song. To zoom in to view the sound wave, which is required to accurately highlight the word, use the buttons on the Zoom palette.
Step 8
Save the modified copy of the song with the Save As option of the File menu to an mp3 file.
