The lake is a natural body of water that has no direct connection with the World Ocean. Lakes are different in origin, both glacial and volcanic. They are united by the beauty that accompanies the reservoirs, at any time of the year. The artists masterfully convey the calmness that is inherent in the lake. Is it possible to depict the smooth surface of water without special education?
It is necessary
Paints, gouache and a hard brush
Instructions
Step 1
It is necessary to outline the lines of the coast. Paint them with black paint. At the same time, the brush must be tough. Draw the coast near you with great pressure, and the far one with a lighter color line. Continue to paint the shore with black paint. Longitudinal and long strokes.
Step 2
The surface of the reservoir, even in calm weather, is never completely smooth. Waves are scattered everywhere. It is necessary to take a hard brush, scoop up the paints well and depict the coast with longitudinal strokes. When there is not enough paint left on the brush, walk along the lake. Then you get the basis for drawing the surface. You need to draw a line that separates the lake from the shore. It should be long, horizontal and wavy. Similar, but shorter lines, you need to depict other waves. Near the coast, the distance between the waves increases, and they themselves acquire a clearer shape. It is necessary to draw lines in a row and parallel to the bank. They form a single line, damaged in some places.
Step 3
Now draw greenery on the ground (shore). Apply the islets of grass with green gouache. In order to revive them, you need to add yellow paint.
Step 4
Then take a thin brush and paint strokes with white gouache paint. They are, as it were, imposed along the entire border of the lake shoreline. Then you get the effect of displaying light in the reservoir, smoothly affecting its edges.
Step 5
To complete the work, you need to take a piece of foam rubber and wrap it with a bandage. In small containers, dilute blue, gray and white paints with water. Then using foam rubber, using it instead of a brush, slightly pressing, make prints on the picture. Use gray if the lake will display either mountains or something else.
