The box always seems to be something unusual and mysterious. This is, in fact, because people always keep something valuable or very important in it. Try to make your own special box. Its originality lies in the volumetric pattern.
It is necessary
- - oval-shaped wooden box;
- - white acrylic paint;
- - white putty for wood;
- - thick cardboard;
- - stationery knife;
- - putty knife;
- - brush.
Instructions
Step 1
The first step is to paint the entire surface of the wooden box with white acrylic paint. In order for the paint to lay evenly, it is necessary to apply it in several layers. Just do not forget that before applying the next layer, the previous one must be completely dried.
Step 2
Now you need to make a stencil. To do this, draw the desired ornament on a thick sheet of cardboard, then cut it along the contour using a clerical knife.
Step 3
The resulting stencil should be placed on the surface of a wooden box and pressed down. Then put some putty on the tip of the spatula and gently start applying it to the stencil. If you don't have a spatula, a simple table knife is a good substitute. Please note that the layer of putty should not be large - 2 millimeters is more than enough.
Step 4
After the putty is applied along the entire contour of the stencil, you need to carefully remove it. Allow the pattern to dry completely. The box with volumetric decor is ready! By the way, it does not have to be done in white shades, it can be painted with acrylics or decorated with any other decorative elements.
