No matter how original the glass bottle is, its age is short. At the end of the feast, when the contents are drunk, it is usually sent to the trash can. But don't rush to throw away empty bottles. Fill them with vegetables, fruits, spices, cereals, legumes - and they turn into a vibrant decor element for the kitchen and dining room, which will delight the eye and whet the appetite. You can buy decorative bottles in the store, but it is much more interesting (and cheaper) to make them yourself.

- - concentrated acetic acid;
- - sealing wax or wax.
Instructions
Step 1
Soak the bottle in hot water to make it easier to peel off labels and excise stamps. Then wash it thoroughly and immerse it in a large pot of boiling water for a few minutes to sterilize.
Step 2
Prepare vegetables and fruits for bottle decoration: carrots, gherkins, corn, asparagus, radishes, olives, green beans, etc. Rinse and dry them. Small foods will pass through the bottleneck entirely. Cut large fruits. In addition to the usual wedges and slices, use fancy cuts. For example, the composition can be decorated with carrot “stars” or patterned citrus peel ribbons. A decorative bottle with vegetables must contain fruits that have natural bactericidal properties and enhance the effect of the preservative. These are hot chili peppers, garlic, fruits and berries with a high acid content (oranges, lemons, cherries). To slip citrus fruits into the bottle, cut them into thin slices and roll them up.
Step 3
Consider the composition of your decorative bottle based on the materials you have at your fingertips. Usually contrasting products are selected and placed in layers, playing with the shape of the vessel. Layers are overlaid with herbs and spices. It is recommended to pre-draw several options on paper and choose the most suitable one.
Step 4
Decorate the bottle with vegetables and fruits according to the drawing. Use a knitting needle or long wooden stick to make it easier to stack and distribute the fruit. After filling the vessel, insert a funnel into the neck and carefully fill the contents with concentrated acetic acid. Seal with a stopper and fill with sealing wax or wax for tightness. As a finishing touch, you can wrap the neck of the decorative bottle with a piece of coarse linen fabric, wrap it with natural or propylene twine, decorate with beads, shells, dried herbs or vegetables.
