Step 1
Draw the fur with sharp, abrupt strokes so that the strokes are thicker at the base and thinner at the very tips. Step 2
Draw long hair. Choose the direction of the hair and draw long strokes very quickly. Paint them until you get a certain thickness of the coat. Draw some hairs lying almost horizontally to enhance the natural look. Now blend the lightly painted coat. It is very important to adhere to the direction of the hair even when shading.
Step 3
Lighten the coat. To do this, take a very thin section of the eraser and draw vertical strokes between the painted fur. Thus, create a fluffy and three-dimensional effect.
Step 4
Draw short hair. To do this, draw short strokes, close to each other, similar to the previous technology. However, when drawing short hair, add strokes very quickly. Then blend the wool and again fluff it up a little with an eraser, i.e. lighten.
Step 5
Draw short or sleek fur. First, apply the shading of the desired tone and depth, and then blend very well - individual hairs should not be visible. Be sure to lighten the coat with an eraser.
Step 6
Depict the color of the coat in two ways. Use the first method when you need to draw light individual strands of hair on a dark background. To do this, shade the entire area very tightly, blend and select the strands with an eraser. Use the second method when on a light background, i.e. unshaded, you need to draw dark curls. This method is good for long, curly hair.
