Who said a monster can't be adorable? This soft fleece pillow with a funny monster just makes you want to hug. It is not at all difficult to sew it. And most importantly, it can be a great gift.
It is necessary
- - fleece fabric in different colors;
- - non-woven fabric;
- - synthetic winterizer;
- - iron;
- - sewing machine.
Instructions
Step 1
First, we cut out the details of the pillow and appliqué from fleece fabric: the upper and lower parts of the head in 1 part, eyes and pupils in 2 parts of different sizes, 2 teeth, 5 strips of 6x20 cm for hair and 2 squares for a pillow measuring 43x43 cm. All details of the applique, except for hair strips, glue with non-woven fabric.
Step 2
Now you can start the application. First, manually mark the eyes and pupils to the top of the monster's head, then the teeth. We sew on a typewriter with a decorative stitch: double or zigzag. Now we sweep and attach both parts of the head to one of the squares of the pillow.
Step 3
Making the hair of the monster. Fold the strips with the right side inward and sew them about 1 cm from the edge. Don't cut off this allowance, it will act as a filler for your hair when you twist it out. After twisting, tie the ends of the strips into knots.
Step 4
Now fold in the open edge of each "hair" and stitch them to the monster's head with three stitches.
Step 5
When the applique is ready, you can sew the pillow. To do this, fold the squares of the pillow with the front sides inward and sew them, leaving a small hole. We turn the pillow through this hole, fill it with padding polyester and sew the hole with a blind seam. The monster pillow is ready!
