Mittens are a warm and comfortable piece of winter clothing. If you know how to knit, make a set of two pairs for yourself and your loved one. Tie yourself white, fluffy mittens with blue snowflakes on the back. For it, choose a dark blue yarn for the main thread and a white thread for the Norwegian pattern. Such a model is made of two separate halves, which are then sewn together.
It is necessary
- - 200 g of white yarn;
- - 200 g of dark blue yarn;
- - knitting needles number 3, 5;
- - hook or needle;
- - paper;
- -pencil.
Instructions
Step 1
Prepare a mitten template. To do this, place your left hand flat on a piece of paper. Trace it along the contour from the beginning of the brush along the little finger to the thumb. Make a point here. Also mark the beginning of the brush on the other side with a dot. Connect these points with a straight line.
Step 2
From the point at the thumb, draw a horizontal line equal to one-third the width of the template. This will be the cut line for the thumb. Sew the pattern of the second mitten symmetrically.
Step 3
Begin knitting with the inner half for the right hand. Cast on the desired number of loops. Tie a 6 cm elastic. Continue with knit. To create a thumb cut, remove one third of the stitches plus one more over a pin. In the next row, dial the removed number of loops on the knitting needles.
Step 4
Knit all stitches with knit to the end of the little finger. Then follow the descent. To do this, knit the last two loops with one front one. Make reductions in both directions in each successive row. Close the last four to five stitches together.
Step 5
Tie the thumb of the mitten. Remove the loops from the pin to the knitting needle. Knit the outside of the toe to half of the nail. Next, make a descent like a mitten. Work the inner half of the thumb in the same way.
Step 6
Tie the outer half of the mitten in the same way as the inner one, only without a finger cut. Repeat the pattern three times in the middle with a different color of thread. Start it in the fourth row after the elastic
Step 7
Connect the finished parts. Sew the wrong side of the thumb with the two outer threads first. Turn it out and sew a second time with a different color of thread for finishing. Sew the whole product in the same way. Tie the second mitten symmetrically to the first.
