Although this valentine is very laconic, and it will take very little time and perseverance to make it, it looks very elegant. A perfect gift for your beloved on Valentine's Day!
It is necessary
- - special paper for making postcards;
- - thick colored paper for quilling red;
- - metal ruler;
- - stationery knife;
- - thick needle;
- - PVA glue;
- - white or silver marker or felt-tip pen.
Instructions
Step 1
From special cardboard for making postcards (you can buy it at stationery stores or art stores), cut out a rectangle of the desired size and fold it in half to make the base for the postcard.
Step 2
From thick red paper, cut a strip 20 cm long, 0.7 cm wide. To do this, mark the size, attach a metal ruler to the marking and cut a strip along it with a clerical knife.
Step 3
Fold the strip in half. Wrap each end tightly around a thick needle (such as a tapestry or darning needle) or other cylindrical object, such as a pen bar. Carefully remove the needle, trying not to split the spiral, while the curls should form the upper part of the heart.
Step 4
Apply PVA glue to one side of the heart with a toothpick and carefully glue it to the card. Use a white or silver felt-tip pen to write a concise inscription. Let the card dry, then sign it.
