It is customary to give valentines on Valentine's Day. Heart-shaped cards, of course, can be bought in the store, but it is much more pleasant to receive a handmade valentine card as a gift.
Valentine's card in quilling technique
Necessary materials:
- colored paper (pink);
- colored cardboard (red);
- pencil;
- PVA glue;
- scissors;
- toothpick.
Manufacturing:
- First you need to make a base for your future valentine. To do this, take a sheet of red cardboard and bend it in half.
- On a separate sheet of cardboard we draw a shape for a card in the form of a heart.
- We apply the made template to a sheet of cardboard folded in half, and cut out the postcard along the contour.
- Now you can start making flowers to decorate your Valentine. To do this, cut strips about 20 cm long in an amount of 18 pieces from pink colored paper.
- Then we make cuts along the entire length of the strips.
- Wrap the prepared strips tightly on toothpicks.
- Grease the resulting rolls in PVA glue and glue them along the contour of the postcard.
- In the middle of the valentine, you can write a declaration of love or attach similar curls made of colored paper.
Volumetric valentine card with angels
Necessary materials:
- colored paper;
- cardboard;
- sharp knife;
- pencil;
- scissors;
- glue;
- hole punch for decoration.
Manufacturing:
- Draw the silhouette of an angel on a piece of cardboard and cut it out.
- We apply the cut template to a piece of A5 paper folded in half, after which we cut it along the contour, except for the place at the base of the foot. Cut out the same angel on the other side of the folded sheet.
- Cut out a heart from colored red paper and glue it to the hands of the angels.
- We decorate the edges of the postcard with a special hole punch. On the outside of the sheet we glue a beautifully designed postcard (you do not need to grease the angels with glue, otherwise they will stick to the postcard).
