A scarf with knitted motifs looks fun and perky. These can be images of flowers, butterflies, geometric shapes, ethnic ornaments. For the child, perform a snowman or kitten on a scarf. And to myself - light, airy snowflakes, as if they had just swirled in the air and now fell on your shoulders.
It is necessary
- - 200 g of blue yarn;
- - 50 g of blue and white yarn;
- - knitting needles number 4.
Instructions
Step 1
Cast on 57 stitches with blue yarn. Knit 3-4 cm cobweb. Such knitting will not allow the knitted fabric to twist. The "cobweb" is knitted in an elementary way: in the front row: 1 purl loop, 1 front loop. In the purl row: knit the front loop with the purl, purl loop - the front one.
Step 2
Change to blue thread and knit two rows with front satin stitch. Continue to knit the last four loops on both sides with a "cobweb".
Step 3
Start knitting the snowflake motif with white thread. The diagram shows the front and back rows - 15 in total. Tie the last four loops with a "cobweb", then - three snowflakes, the four remaining loops - again with a "cobweb". Edge loops are not included in the calculation
Step 4
Next, knit four rows with the front stitch pattern "checkerboard". Knit the first front row like this: two loops with a blue thread, two with a blue thread, etc. to the end of the row. In the purl row, knit according to the pattern. In the next front row, continue in a checkerboard pattern: two loops with blue thread, two with blue thread. Purl row according to the drawing. Do not forget to knit the last four loops with a "cobweb".
Step 5
Change to a blue thread and knit 90 cm with a "spider web". Then follow the checkerboard pattern as described above. The last four loops on both sides to the end, continue to knit with a "cobweb". Tie two rows with the front satin stitch with blue thread. Follow the snowflake motif. Tie two rows of stitch again with blue yarn. Switch to blue thread and knit 3-4 cm with a "spider web". Close the hinges. The scarf is ready.
Step 6
This scarf has a seamy side and a front side. If you want to hide the threads on the reverse side, knit a rectangle of blue yarn equal to the part of the scarf that you want to "hide". Sew the parts together.
