Step 1
The personal "I" in a person exists by itself. It gives out flashes of conscience, morality and intuition, enlightens the intellect, turns on the mind. The presence of the higher Ego nourishes the body and pacifies the soul. The ego does not exist without a shell of human flesh. It does not manifest itself in the lower worlds, but collects and tries on human bodies, then throws them off. How we try on and shed our clothes. The ego absorbs all the achievements and incarnations of the human shell.
Step 2
Developing your personal "I", you need to have great life achievements. That is, in earthly life, strive higher and higher, not stopping at the achieved successes. They need to be developed and multiplied. This does not mean that you need to multiply your wealth. The Personal Ego does not value wealth. Life experience is important in achieving success and prosperity. Everything that surrounds you is important, you need to appreciate every day you live.
Step 3
Develop your conscience. Do everything in consultation with her. Not having a conscience, not getting immortality. Do not tackle what is contrary to your conscience.
Step 4
Always trust your intuition - it is the main assistant in the development of the higher self. Everything that the inner voice of intuition advises you is true. Reason can only talk about gain and accumulation, which is not an achievement in the higher worlds. Only what is really valuable and what can be forgotten in the daily rush is appreciated.
Step 5
By developing morality, you also come closer to immortality and reach your higher self. Immoral acts alienate a person from immortality and postpone the possibility of incarnation.
Step 6
If you develop and embody all the above-described abilities, and you have no result from this, then the path has been chosen incorrectly, you should change the direction of your earthly life, try your hand at a new field. If each time, changing direction, the goal does not approach and it is not possible to achieve it, it means that in the next life everything will work out or the present incarnation of the last and higher forces give rest and relaxation before the breath of eternity.

Also, the Ego is present in other teachings, for example, according to Freud, but this is more related to psychology and has nothing to do with immortality.
