Probably every person in childhood had fun, making paper turntables and launching them in the wind. Despite the fact that today everyone lives in the age of high technology, and at any time you can purchase an electric fan, making a paper propeller-spinner can be a fun and exciting activity that will entertain both you and your children.
It is necessary
- - wooden plank;
- - knife.
Instructions
Step 1
To make the simplest turntable, prepare materials - a board 2.5 cm wide and 10 cm long, as well as a sharp knife. Using a knife, carefully cut the board from the center point towards the edges - left and right, so that on the sides you get two thin plates that are at an angle to each other.
Step 2
Round off the ends of the plank to make the structure more propeller-like and more aerodynamic. After that, in the middle part of the blank for the propeller, drill a small hole and insert a processed wooden stick - an axis into it.
Step 3
Lubricate the tip of the axle inserted into the hole of the propeller with glue. The axle length should be 15 cm. Wait until the glue dries, and then, in an open space, quickly spin the propeller axle between your palms, then release the propeller. It should fly up.
Step 4
Also, the propeller can be made not only from wood, but also from paper or cardboard. Take a square of heavy paper and cut the corners in half, leaving the center of the square solid. Bend the corners of the square to the center through one, and pin the ends at the center with a pin, which in turn put on the axis stick.
Step 5
The wind blows such a propeller right away, and even a child can make it - you don't need special knowledge to create a paper propeller, and you only need scissors and paper. Homemade turntables can be great toys, or they can serve a practical purpose by blowing air around you in hot summer weather.
