Step 1
Make a pattern first. Draw the outlines of a person on cardboard, only make the body in the form of a vessel, since the thigh part should be larger. Next, cut out the pattern and transfer it with a piece of soap or a simple pencil to a light-colored fabric - white or beige. You need to transfer the pattern to the fabric twice to make the details of the back and front. Remember to leave seam allowances. Then cut out these two pieces, turn to the wrong side and sew, leaving an open section to fill the figure. Now turn the clown's body to the front side.
Step 2
For stuffing toys, use cotton wool, synthetic winterizer or synthetic fluff. Remember that cotton wool tends to roll into lumps and you cannot wash a toy stuffed with it. The synthetic winterizer and synthetic winterizer have more volume, give lightness to the toy and easily tolerate washing. Start filling the body of our clown carefully, starting with the farthest details. Stuff your legs, arms, head tightly, as a lack of stuffing in these parts will make the toy look unattractive. After the end of the process, carefully sew up the section you left.

Now we need to style the face of the clown. To do this, take the buttons: two black and one red. Sew black buttons in place of the eyes, and a red button will serve as a nose. Do the same with the eyebrows, only for this take a black cloth. Cheeks can be decorated with regular blush. Make hair from any fur, thread. Collect them in a bun and glue them to the head.
Step 4
You can make a cap for a clown. To do this, cut out two elongated triangles from red fabric and sew together, leaving one side unsewn for attaching to the clown's head. Attach the cap to our shape. A bead can be sewn onto the end of the cap, this will serve as a pompom.
Step 5
Now we need to dress our clown. To do this, cut out your pants and jacket. Cut out pieces of fabric in different colors and sew. Remember to wear bright colors. Decorate it with sequins and beads. So what is a suit without a collar? To do this, cut it out of any light material, for example, chiffon, organza. Sew the cut edge with a buttonhole, and gather the other with a thread. Slip over the clown's head and tighten.
Step 6
Next, the final detail is the shoes. To do this, cut out four ovals from red fabric and sew in pairs. Stuff them with padding and sew to the clown's feet. Our comic character is ready!
