The art of macrame, despite its age, is still winning the hearts of new fans. Indeed, using a surprisingly simple weaving technique, you can create real masterpieces. But before you move on to creating complex products, you need to master how to make macrame.

Instructions
Step 1
Wash the material, or better yet, boil it. This will allow the material used to become more obedient when working with it: the deformation of the future product is minimized.
Step 2
Dry the material. You cannot use wet!
Step 3
Place the threads vertically on the pads. Secure the ends of the threads (two threads are required) to the pads with a pin.
Step 4
Bring the right working thread under the left one. And then pull the left thread from the bottom up, pushing it through the loop. Tighten the resulting knot. The result is a flat knot.
Step 5
Tie a few left single knots, which will cause the thread to curl. Flip the threads so that the right thread goes to the left and the left thread to the right. Continue with the thread where the knots were tied. The end result is a twisted cord.
Step 6
Tie two flat knots (first one and immediately the second). The weave will look like a square flat knot. You will need to finish it with a lock.
