A tourniquet is a volumetric beaded adornment, often used as a chain for pendants, pendants, as a base for beads and necklaces. There are several ways to weave a plait: mosaic longitudinal technique, transverse weaving and many others. The plaits made using the square weaving technique are especially interesting.
Instructions
Step 1
Weave a row of chains in two needles using the cross technique. To do this, dial four beads in the middle of the thread, pass through the last one twice to make a rhombus. On both sides of the bead, two threads will diverge. Cast on similar diamonds until you braid the chain to the desired length.
Step 2
Turn and braid the second row of diamonds, then the third. Instead of the fourth, connect the outer rows to make a round plait.
Step 3
In the cord, the beads will be arranged with holes in two directions - parallel to the cord and perpendicular. Go through the outermost bead of the parallel row, type a new bead. Then go through the next bead in the parallel row and tighten. In the same way, go through the entire row, sealing it with new beads.
Step 4
In the same way, weave the beads into the other three rows of beads, which lie parallel to the direction of the cord. Sew fasteners to the ends. Wrap the tourniquet several times around your neck or simply put it on. Attach a brooch or other jewelry to it.
