Finding a use for the leftover tissue is not so difficult. I suggest that you sew a needle cushion from shreds. Agree that this is a very useful thing in needlework.
It is necessary
- - shreds of cotton;
- - 2 buttons of different sizes and colors;
- - edging tape with ruffles;
- - cardboard;
- - ruler;
- - stationery knife;
- - sewing machine;
- - compasses;
- - synthetic winterizer;
- - pencil.
Instructions
Step 1
First of all, it is necessary to make a template from cardboard, with the help of which it will be possible to easily cut out shreds of the same size from pieces of fabric. To do this, draw a circle of a suitable size on the cardboard with a compass. Divide the drawn circle exactly in the middle. Cut the resulting half in half again. From this piece of cardboard, make 2 identical parts. The formed quarter will be a template for future patterns.
Step 2
Attach a cardboard template to the pieces of fabric and cut out shreds along it. You should have 8 of them in total. Just do not forget to make allowances for the seam.
Step 3
Connect the resulting fabric patterns to each other by stitching on a sewing machine.
Step 4
Cut a rectangle out of the fabric. Its length should be equal to the circumference of the circle sewn from scraps. Sew a piping tape in the center of this strip.
Step 5
Carefully sweep the edges of the seams of the circle made of shreds, then sew them with a sewing machine. Then sew a strip of tape to the resulting figure. Do not forget that all these actions must be done from the wrong side.
Step 6
Now cut a circle out of the fabric exactly the same size as the first one. Sew it neatly to the strip of tape. Do not forget to leave a small hole for stuffing the craft.
Step 7
Fill the future needle bed with padding polyester or any other filler that you have. Sew the left hole neatly.
Step 8
Sew the buttons into the center of the craft, laying one on top of the other. When sewing them, pull off the product slightly. The patchwork cushion is ready!
