Tatyana Totmianina is a Russian figure skater, Olympic champion in pair skating, five-time European champion, two-time world champion. Totmianina always carefully concealed her personal life from prying eyes. The journalists only managed to find out that the skater had been dating her coach Oleg Vasiliev for a long time. The age difference was one of the reasons for the separation. Alexey Yagudin is one of the most famous Russian figure skaters. He was born in Leningrad in 1980. My father left the family early and went to Germany. Yagudin was raised by his mother and tried to give her son everything she could. Alexei was often ill and his mother sent him to the figure skating section to make the boy stronger. The first coaches of the future Olympic champion already then noted his great potential.
When the athlete was 13 years old, he got to the famous mentor Alexei Mishin. Under his leadership, he took 4th place at the World Junior Championships, and won gold at the next championship. Yagudin was interested not only in sports achievements, but also in studies. He graduated with honors from school and entered the St. Petersburg State Academy of Physical Culture named after P. Lesgaft. After graduation, he became an Honored Master of Sports of the Russian Federation.
In 1998, Yagudin left his coach Alexei Mishin and began to train with Tatyana Tarasova. Cooperation with her brought the athlete many victories at the most prestigious sports competitions.
