Yuri Begalov was born on September 28, 1962 in Tbilisi into an intelligent Russian-Armenian family. After school, he received his law degree. As an entrepreneur, Begalov is known as a co-founder of the British oil trading company First Quantum.
It was as the owner of the oil company that Yuri met Tatyana Vedeneeva. During her journalistic career, the TV presenter was tasked with organizing an interview with an entrepreneur. According to Tatyana's recollections, at the first meeting, Yuri surprised her and immediately liked her: no crimson jackets and gold chains. Begalov looked simple, gallant, spoke intelligently and to the point.
However, the relationship did not start immediately, the fact is that both were not free at that time. Begalov had a wife and two daughters, and he was 9 years younger than Tatiana. The TV presenter was then also married to her first husband Valery Shaposhnikov, her son Dmitry was born in this union.
