Despite the fact that there are many types of sleeves, when knitting which needlewomen do not need to rack their brains, how to lower or dial the loops so that the product fits perfectly, many prefer the classic set-in sleeve. It is not impossible for such a sleeve to correspond to the size and features of the figure, but for this it is necessary to very accurately calculate the number of loops.

Pattern of the product
Instructions
Step 1
Draw a right triangle on the pattern. To do this, from the end point of the shoulder line, lower the perpendicular to the chest line. Measure from the bottom of the armhole to the top of the right angle. Measure the height of the triangle and count how many side braids will fit on it.
Step 2
Count how many stitches you have in one centimeter of knitting. Multiply this number by the distance between the end of the armhole and the top of the right angle. Count this number of loops from the edge of the product along which you will knit the armhole.
Step 3
Each side "pigtail" is 2 rows of knit, since the last loop is knitted through the row. Based on this, calculate how many stitches you should close in each pair of rows. To do this, measure the average height of the "pigtail" and mark the triangle on the pattern with horizontal lines. Measure each one. A horizontal line from the perpendicular to the point of intersection with the armhole and calculate the number of loops.
Step 4
There are several ways to lower the hinges. If you are knitting all the pieces separately, it is most convenient to just close the loops at the beginning of the row. You have already calculated the scheme according to which you will close the loops, and it will be different for each product. As a rule, 5-7 loops are closed in the first row, 2-3 in the third and fifth, and 1-2 in the seventh.
