Wait a little for the liquid to absorb, then collect the embers in a pyramid and light it gently at the base. Do not forget about safety precautions, because the liquid is very flammable. With this method of cooking, the coals will be ready in 30-40 minutes. During this time, vapors of the "incendiary" liquid must completely evaporate.

In addition to liquid, there are also dry incendiary mixtures in the form of small pieces or tablets. They also need to be placed in the base of the coal pyramid and carefully set on fire.

Before you start cooking, add dry apple or cherry wood shavings to the smoldering coals - this will give the finished dishes a special delicate aroma.

Step 7

If you didn’t use all the coals when preparing the kebab, you can save them for the next time. Place the remaining pieces in paper, and then in a plastic bag, which must be tied tightly so they will not get damp. It should also be remembered that coals absorb foreign aromas, for example, gasoline or kerosene, so store them in a room where there are no aggressive odors.
