Formula 1 is one of the most popular computer games not only among young people, but also among the older generation. To win prizes in the race, it is important that the car is properly set up.
Instructions
Step 1
Start the game. Display the race settings menu.
Step 2
Adjust the rear wings by selecting the "Aerodynamics" item from the menu. Change the wing angle by decreasing or increasing it. In this way, you change the level of downforce. The greater the angle, the greater the downforce of the rear wing, and, consequently, the grip of the rear axle of the car increases. By increasing the angle of the front wing, you will accordingly improve the grip of the front axle. It is very important to find the correct turning angle here. In this case, you should be aware that for each of the tracks the angles will be different. By changing these two settings, you can achieve excellent handling of the race car even at top speed.
Step 3
Proceed to setting up the transmission. To do this, select the "Gearbox" menu item. Adjust the most recent gear so that the RPM almost hits the limiter when engaged. Set second gear to the slowest corner. Distribute the rest equally among yourself.
Step 4
Go to the ride height setting. To do this, select the "Suspension" menu item. Ground clearance is the distance from the car's suspension to the track, that is, the asphalt itself. It is important to know here that if the ground clearance is too small, then the car will cling to the asphalt when cornering and unevenness, and, therefore, you will have to slow down.
Step 5
Proceed to setting the suspension stiffness. To do this, select the "Suspension" menu item. Adjust the hardness setting to medium balance. A strong increase in stiffness leads to a decrease in traction, but the handling becomes the most sensitive.
Step 6
Go to the anti-roll bar setting, to go to such settings, select the "Balance" menu item. Remember, the greatest stiffness in this case contributes to a rapid increase in speed to maximum, but significantly worsens the car's grip on the track, which means that the car can slip when cornering and fly out of the way.
Step 7
Start the game and check how controllable your car has become. In case you do not achieve the desired result, experiment with the above settings until you make your race car obedient.
