Jay Sean is a British singer with Indian roots, an internationally popular performer, known for his charity work, the husband of the famous American singer Tara.
Biography
The future singer was born in the large shopping district of London Huanslow on March 26, 1981 in a family of immigrants, Punjabi Sikhs Sharana and Bindi Jhoti. The family soon moved to the suburb of Southall, where Jay first began to be creative while studying at Latimer High School.
The full name of the famous singer is Kamaljit Singh Jhuti. At the age of 11, he, together with his cousin, created the hip-hop duo "Compulsive Disorder", taking the stage name Nicky J, and soon everyone around him called the boy only Jay.
Jay studied well, got excellent grades in most subjects, and after school entered the University of London to study medicine. And in 2003, he dropped out of school for music, adding the prefix "Sean" to the pseudonym "J", an affectionate household nickname for "pride."
