I want to make rest by the sea interesting and varied. Especially if you are relaxing with children who are bored of lying around on the beach. Build a sand castle with them.
It is necessary
- Toy molds
- Scoop
- Bucket
- Natural material - pebbles, shells, branches
Instructions
Step 1
Choose a location. You need to build near water, but at the same time, the "construction site" should not be flooded.
Step 2
Clear the place. Remove the trash. If you find interesting pebbles or twigs, set them aside - you will need them to decorate the building. Collect wrappers and fragments of broken bottles in a plastic bag and take them to the trash can.
Step 3
Imagine what your castle will be like. It is better if the castle has several towers connected by walls. Sketch the outlines of the foundation. Remember that the foundation must be wider than what will be built on it.
Step 4
Build towers. This can be done with a regular baby bucket. Collect wet sand in it, tamp it, then turn the bucket over to the place where you planned the construction of the tower. If the sand does not immediately come out of the bucket, tap the bottom with a child's spatula. Line up the walls of the towers. It is most convenient to do this with your hand.
Step 5
Connect the towers with walls. Lay the sand in an even and dense layer. The walls at the top may be slightly thinner than the bottom. Make a gate in one of the walls. You can make loopholes in the walls, but there should not be too many of them, otherwise the castle will crumble. Take a sharp stick and pierce the wall in several places. The same can be done in the towers.
Step 6
Decorate the castle. Use pebbles and shells for this. You can put the coat of arms of the owner of the castle in front of the gate.
Step 7
Surround the castle with a moat and a rampart, as was done in ancient fortresses.
