For fishing in a river with a fast current, you will need a heavy sinker or jig. Fishing with wire harness also has its own characteristics, in particular, when pulling the float under water, you need to make a smooth notch.
Fishing in a fast flowing river is associated with certain peculiarities. Here, an ordinary fishing rod and bread as bait will not work, you need to know the peculiarities of the flow and behavior of the fish in these conditions and use them to your advantage.
Features of the float used
First, you need to find a place with the greatest possible depth and a weaker current. The rod can be used the same as for normal fishing, but the float will have to be improved. For this, a heavy sinker is used so that it can stay on the bottom, and you also need to make a hole in it to facilitate its movement along the line. After that, the entire structure must be locked either with a special knot or with a simple rubber tube: if you insert something into it, then it will be difficult to walk. Then 5 cm of fishing line is left and the hook is suspended.
When fishing, you need to try to make the depth of the float more, throw the fishing rod, pull the line with a slight slack and put the structure on an emphasis. The principle is the same: as soon as the fish bites, the float jerks.
Catching the harness
Such fishing is used in places where they exit from deep pits, between thickets of reeds and grass, and at the supports of any structures. Bloodworms, river snails, worms, steamed grain and peas can go for bait. To feed the fish with a strong current, the bait must be lowered to the bottom in a fine mesh bag, having previously rolled up a heavy object there. It is necessary to take into account the size of the trigger of the nozzle, that is, the distance from the hook with the nozzle to the float. In a strong current, there should be no more than ¼ of the float height above the water.
The nozzle must be slightly ahead of the load and be no higher than 5-6 cm from the bottom. The load is tied to the forest on a separate leash, the length of which is 10 cm. It is thrown in front of the thrown bait. When lowering the float into the water, the rod must be held vertically, and as the float is removed, gradually tilt it towards the water. When the float is pulled under the water, it is necessary to make a smooth notch with the hand of the hand, because it is precisely "at the hood" that the fish very often takes the nozzle. You can use maggots, caddis flies, mayfly larvae, steamed oats, wheat or peas as a nozzle.
The size of the hook should correspond to the size of the nozzle, in addition, it should be sharp and protrude slightly from it. With a strong current, anglers also use jig fishing, but for this you need to arm yourself with several fishing rods, equipped for different fishing conditions and extremely light bait. A white slave is unlikely to take a large jig, except for a bream or a chub. For bloodworms, worms or fry, they catch perch, pike perch, ruff, leading an active game.
