A leather box can become a decoration of a bedside table or a unique gift to a loved one. Leather lends itself well to processing, its connection is possible both by stitching and by gluing. A small list of tools allows even novice amateurs to create a box. Finally, unnecessary leather belts and scraps of old leather will find a worthy use.

Instructions
Step 1
The base of the box will be a cardboard tube and six circles of chipboard or plywood. A cardboard pipe of this diameter can be found in a hardware store, photo wallpaper and linoleum are attached to them.
Step 2
From thin plywood, cut a piece with a diameter of 10 cm, two pieces of 8 cm each, three pieces of 7 cm each and four pieces of 5 cm each.
Step 3
To form the lid, cover the parts with a diameter of 10, 8 and 7 cm with leather of various colors.
Step 4
Connect the pieces in a pyramid shape with the wrapped sides facing outward. To make the lid conveniently open between parts 1 and 2, fasten a leather loop. It can be a smooth buttonhole or a flat braid. Place the formed structure under a press.
Step 5
To prevent the lid from moving, glue a leather-covered workpiece with a diameter of 8 cm to the inside.
Step 6
To trim the inside of the box, cut a piece of leather that will be 3 cm longer than the base. Join the edges of the rectangle and sew with a sewing machine.
Step 7
Smear the inner part of the tube with Moment glue, place the resulting leather “sleeve” there and glue it carefully. On each side, the leather trim should protrude 1.5 cm.
Step 8
Fold the excess edge and glue from the outside.
Step 9
The outer empty space will be filled with a strip of white leather. Use a tape measure to measure the width and length of the unsealed part. Cut a piece of leather 1.5 times the circumference of the box itself.
Step 10
Spread the resulting tape with glue and place the glue side down on the foil. Forming vertical folds, drape.
Step 11
Wait until the strip is dry and stick it on the surface of the box, overlapping the edges.
Step 12
Weave a leather braid and glue at the seams.
Step 13
To form the bottom of the box, take blanks with a diameter of 10 and 8 cm, lay them on the skin and cut out the pieces, stepping back from the edge by 1 cm. Glue the ends on the back side, glue the wrong sides with glue and connect the parts together.
Step 14
After the parts are firmly attached to each other, glue them to the base of the box.
Step 15
You can decorate the box with a leather rose. To do this, cut out the required number of petals and leaves. Burn the petals over the candle until they swirl.
Step 16
When forming leaves, cut the edges before processing. As a result, the leaves will acquire the effect of denticles along the edge.
Step 17
To collect the rose, twist the first petal into a tube and wrap it with the second petal. Overlap the petals one after the other.
Step 18
To connect the rose with the leaves, cut 4 pieces of wire 10 cm long and wrap with leather tape.
Step 19
Form a slight bend and glue to the box. Glue a rose and leaves on top.
