A simple thin plastic rim, strips of leather of any color, glue, a sharp knife, all sorts of small pieces of leather and fur
Instructions
Step 1
From a long piece of leather, cut two thin strips 5-7 mm wide. Bend one of them in half, and tie the other with one end to the fold of the first. Fix the junction of the strips on the work table motionlessly. Gently braid a pigtail of leather strips from the junction, do it evenly and beautifully - this is the basis of the future headband.
Step 2
On the plastic rim, determine the sufficient length of the leather pigtail, leave 2-3 cm for the folds, cut off the extra pieces of strips. Glue or sew together the three ends of the leather strips tightly and neatly. Glue the end of the braid on the inside of the rim, wind the braid up and stick it carefully on the rim, trying to do it evenly and neatly. Glue the other end of the leather braid on the inside of the rim.
Step 3
Set the headband aside to allow the glue to dry well. Make a leather flower to decorate your headband. To do this, spread small pieces of skin in front of you and imagine what kind of flower can be made from this. Cut petals of different sizes from the selected pieces. Cut out the base of the flower from a larger piece.
Step 4
On the base, glue the petals from larger to smaller one at a time, superimposing the end of the next petal on the previous one, gradually moving towards the center in a spiral. In the middle of the flower, you can glue a ball of fur depicting stamens and pistils, or a beautiful bead. Dry the resulting flower well and glue it on the leather pigtail of the rim, pressing it carefully so as not to damage the petals.
Step 5
Instead of a flower, you can make another decoration - a twig, ornament or animal, whatever you want and can do. Sew on a leather circle a composition of beads, beads and rhinestones - you will get an original brooch that can be used to decorate a headband. Try a headband - a stylish leather jewelry is ready!
