Step 1
Knowing the proportions of the adult human body makes it easier to draw the figure. It is believed that the height of the head can be postponed vertically in height 7 times for a person below 165 cm, 7, 5 times - with an average height (165-170 cm) and 8 times - with a high growth (180 cm and more). First, determine the height of the whole shape, set aside the height of the head as many times as necessary. Sketch the main parts of the body, their size, direction of movement. Do all this with light lines. The width of the shoulders and the width of the hips in a woman is approximately 1.5 times the height of the head, and the width of the waist is equal to the height of one head.
Step 2
Mark the length of the arms, the direction of movement of the shoulders and forearms, the position of the elbows (they should be at waist level). Use geometric shapes in the sketch - for example, first sketch the palm in the form of an oval, then draw the details and fingers. Mark the length and thickness of the legs, the direction of movement of the thighs and shins, the position of the knees. Draw short lines for the outlines of the legs.
