Paintings are a good decoration, and if you make them with your own hands from beads, they will surely create a pleasant atmosphere in your home. This is not a simple and painstaking business, but the result will exceed all your expectations.
Instructions
Step 1
First select a drawing. You can sketch out with a pencil or take a ready-made cross stitch pattern. The last option is more suitable, since such schemes are accompanied by a color layout, which will greatly simplify the work of selecting beads. But your original painting will be slightly longer in height.
Step 2
It is better not to use this method for depicting people and animals, because the figures will turn out to be elongated in height. A ready-made embroidery chart printed on canvas will help to avoid this problem. In this case, sew a thick fabric under the base before starting work. You can also print your favorite image on a color printer in accordance with the size of the future picture. Transfer the outlines to the fabric.
Step 3
Choose the matching bead colors. Since the color play of small glass balls can sometimes "cut the eye", try to choose warmer and more calm shades. In your painting, you can use bugles or cuttings as additional elements.
Step 4
In work, use a special thin needle, fishing line or thread. String the beads with a regular needle-back stitch. Collect three beads at once, and when returning - two at a time. For convenience, string the beads from a smooth and flat surface. A small white porcelain saucer is perfect for this. Arrange no more than 5 flowers on one saucer, preferably contrasting ones. Use multiple plates whenever possible. This will significantly save your time and your eyesight.
Step 5
When the work is finished, take care of its design. Place your picture in a beautiful frame and use special tools to stretch the embroidery onto a solid base. Or contact a framing shop if your painting does not fit in standard frames. Be sure to use a closed frame with glass to protect the beaded painting from dust accumulation.
