The figure of a knight on a horse is one of the most complex. If you are just learning to draw, then practice first to draw separately the figure of a person and separately the figure of a horse. Only then can you connect them together in one drawing.
It is necessary
A sheet of paper, pencil, eraser, materials for work in color
Instructions
Step 1
Place the sheet of paper vertically. With a simple pencil, start sketching. First draw the body and head of the knight, mark the center of the front with a vertical line. Draw a circle just below the body for the horse's chest.
Step 2
Next, draw another circle - the horse's rear, this ball goes a little over the small ball. Add guidelines for the horse's head. This figure slightly resembles an elongated pear. Draw a center line on the horse's head and chest, and connect the horse's head and body. Under the outline of the war horse's body, outline the knee joints of the animal with small ovals.
Step 3
We are working on the figure of the knight. On the midline of the torso, outline the line of the chest and waist. Mark the arms and leg visible to us with small ovals. In the figure of the horse, add a horizontal line (future harness) on the midline of the muzzle. Complement the lower joints and hooves in the form of semi-ovals. Connect your head to your neck.
Step 4
Begin sketching in detail. On the knight's head, mark a helmet, outline a sword that is fastened to the belt, mark a spear in the right (visible to you) hand, draw a brush and a knee with an oval, smooth the knight's shoulders. Mark his foot. Make wide stripes on the chest, rear and muzzle of the horse, these will be the belts with which the harness and saddle are held. Draw the legs of the horse, connect the joints with lines.
Step 5
Continue to work on the drawing by drawing details. Finish the harness on the horse, the harness on the muzzle, draw one visible eye, ears. On the figure of the knight, draw a helmet, armor, a belt, a sword, draw a leg visible to us. To continue the drawing, look on the Internet for drawings and photographs of knights, pay attention to his armor, try to make a drawing close to the original. At this stage, you can carefully erase auxiliary lines with an eraser, outline the shadow. Complete your drawing in pencil or using paints or other materials.
