Barbie is a well-groomed and very beautiful doll, sometimes striking with the expressiveness of her face and grace of features. This is how it should be depicted in the drawings, and for this you have to work hard.
It is necessary
a sheet of paper, a simple pencil, an eraser, materials for working in color
Instructions
Step 1
The easiest way is to draw a full-length Barbie doll by placing a sheet of paper vertically. Think about what kind of doll you will draw, in what clothes. If you find it difficult to do this, then look at the photos from the Barbie on the Internet and find the ones you like.
Step 2
Use a simple pencil to sketch the doll's shape lightly. Then start sketching more precisely. Draw an egg-shaped head and outline the hair. Further, gradually going down, outline a thin neck, from it - neat shoulders. Sketch the narrow waist - the hallmark of the Barbie doll - and connect the waist to the shoulders. Mark the chest and the position of the arms. Next, proceed to the bottom.
Step 3
The easiest way is to avoid drawing the legs with a picture of a doll in a long ball gown, but this is according to your desire. Sticking to this rule, outline the "bell" of the skirt. Otherwise, draw the thighs, they are narrower in width than the shoulders. Draw lines from them - the direction of the legs. Then build the legs out of the ovals. Then gradually "merge" the ovals with lines. Sketch neat feet.
Step 4
At this stage, you can already outline some details of the doll's clothes. Then draw the face - depict the eyes a little larger than those of people. For dolls, they are always large and expressive. Then create a neat nose and mouth. Refine the doll's hairstyle. Draw the arms, they can also be drawn from ovals. Edit the finished sketch with an eraser, removing unnecessary and auxiliary lines
Step 5
Get started in color. Gouache or felt-tip pens are best. You can use a mixed technique for a brighter drawing. First paint over the exposed parts of the body, mixing white, a little red and a little yellow to create a tan color. Then continue filling the drawing from top to bottom, applying paint (strokes) smoothly and according to the shape of the body. After applying the main color spots, let the drawing dry. Then complete small details in color - folds, loops, ruffles, ornament on clothes, eyes with cilia, lips on the face.
Step 6
After diluting the blue color with water, cover it slightly with the background at the bottom of the sheet, creating the effect that the doll does not weigh in the air, but is on some surface or a hint of it. After the drawing is dry, you can stroke it with a black helium pen to make your work more vibrant and clear.
